One for the lady listener
Spotted at the great Amberley Working Museum (just before an impressive display of static electricity sparks) this speaker was apparently made by Royal Doulton for Artandia in the 1920's as an overt bid to encourage ladies to take an interest in speaker technology.
It would certainly work for me! Beats the various 'vintage' monsters we have cluttering up the P&M on a promise to be repaired.
