Thanks to Gordon & Louise for showing Lizzy and I around their lovely allotment on Saturday ... the highlight of an otherwise sneezy, cold & bed bound weekend!

Liz & I's excitement at a possible application to the West Ham Allotment soc. was only tainted by the sad news that they too (Like Manor Garden Allotments) are having to move some of their plots over the next few months as the Prescott Channel is going to be widened ... no doubt partly also to accommodate the Olympic construction traffic ...

I made a great potent chilli soup from the parsnips they gave me.
