The Christmas lights of Beverley Heights didn't make for such an impressive show this year ... still they are always a welcome escape from the fug of Christmas TV, constant food, booze and wind.
They do, however, seem to be spreading right across suburban Southampton.

Just out delivering the last of my Christmas cards - it has to be said unlike Heathrow, Hackney sure is improved by fog.

Actually I'm gutted that I spotted the Hackney Council Christmas Cards too late to purchase - think of the photoshop hours, card, glue and scalpel blades I could have saved. I'd like to think they were a deliciously ironic introduction on the part of a savvy staff member but sadly this is probably not the case ... still I might get a pack for next year.
