The other thing that's been cheering me up is the rice cooker I bought in the Vietnamese supermarket in Hackney, giving me a chance to stop moaning about UK food and to say something good about living in Hackney (which I've begun to feel is getting a bad blog-deal from me). One of these good things is that you can buy most objects and services you need in life on our street, and if you can't get them here they may well be in this supermarket on Mare Street! I am going to make an effort to love Hackney more on my Blog and Flickr ... but if they would open the Lido on London Fields soon that would really help.
